Our Battlecry: BEST in LIGAO
| Ligao City Division adopts PET..... |
The division of lIgao City launched the project PET
( Professional Enhancement of Teachers in Ligao) S.Y 2007-2008
in consonance with its battlecry Building Effective Schools Today via
Learners' Improvement and Growth in Achievement and Outcomes
( BEST in LIGAO ). Dr. San Antonio used the word "PET" which connotes
something prized and looked into with attention, love and care instead of
the word LAC sessions which have been noted as the time for relaxation.
Teachers convene once a month for their professional growth
enhancement on teaching strategies, classroom management and
curriculum updates with the objective of achieving better results,
achievements and outcomes. This is also a sharing of the best practices of
teachers which have been proven effective in improving the learners'
