INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID
The Department of Education, DIVISION OF LIGAO CITY, through its BIDS and AWARDS
COMMITTEE (BAC), invites suppliers/distributors to participate in the procurement process
for the hereunder project:
Name of Project : 2007 Supply and Delivery of Elementary Tables and Chairs, Elementary
Armchairs, Secondary Armchairs and Teacher’s Tables and Chairs
Location : Division Office Building
Division of Ligao City
Guilid, Ligao City
Brief Description : Elementary Tables and Chairs (I-IV) – 125 sets
Elementary Armchairs (V-VI) – 300 units
Secondary Armchairs – 250 units
Teachers’ Tables and Chairs – 18 sets
(All wood materials)
ABC : P 740,000.00
Funding Source : GOP
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedure using non-
discretionary pass/fail criteria as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations of
R.A. 9184 known as the Government Procurement Reform Act. Only Bids and Bidders who
pass the eligibility check will be opened.
Bid Documents will be available to prospective bidders upon payment of a non-refundable
amount of Two Thousand Pesos (P 2,000.00) to DepED, Division of Ligao City Cashier.
The Division of Ligao City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the
bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby
incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
